1. About Storied

Storied provides a personalized service for creating custom books based on recorded conversations and personal stories shared by the client or gift recipient. Each book is created individually and is not a mass-produced product.

2. Service Description

Storied offers:

  • A series of guided conversations conducted remotely

  • Writing, editing, and structuring of a personal life story

  • Design and preparation of a book for print and digital formats

  • Optional physical delivery of a printed book or gift box

The exact scope depends on the selected package (Core or Premium).

3. Ordering & Payment

  • Full or partial payment is required before the service begins.

  • Payments are processed online via third-party payment providers.

  • For some packages, payment may be split into stages (e.g. before interviews and before printing).

4. Refund Policy

Due to the personalized and custom nature of the service:

  • Payments are non-refundable once the interview or writing process has begun.

  • If the project is cancelled before any interviews take place, a partial refund may be considered at our discretion.

5. Client Responsibilities

By using our service, you confirm that:

  • You have the right to share the stories, materials, and information provided.

  • You understand that the quality and depth of the book depend on the information shared during conversations.

  • You will review and approve the final content before printing.

6. Privacy & Confidentiality

  • All conversations, recordings, and materials are treated as private and confidential.

  • Storied does not share, publish, or reuse personal stories without explicit permission.

  • Content is used solely for the purpose of creating the requested book.

7. Content Ownership

  • The final book content belongs to the client or the gift recipient.

  • Storied retains no rights to publish or distribute the content unless explicitly agreed in writing.

8. Delivery & Timelines

  • Estimated timelines are provided for each package but may vary depending on scheduling and revisions.

  • Physical delivery times depend on location and shipping providers.

9. Limitation of Liability

Storied is not responsible for:

  • Emotional interpretations or personal reactions to the content

  • Delays caused by third-party services (printing, shipping, payment providers)

  • Losses arising from misuse of the final materials

10. Changes to These Terms

Storied may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the service after changes indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
